This Expert Team will be a joint body with the World Health Organization (WHO) who together will nominate a group of health experts. As an inter-agency body with WHO, itcomprises approximately 20 technical experts selected by the president of the commission in consultation with its co-chairs, assisted by the management group and Secretariat. It includes experts from NMHSs, Regional Bodies and WMO centres providing operational services to the health sector, and experts nominated by WHO.
