Common Alerting Protocol in the Caribbean - Dominica, Saint Lucia & Grenada

Training to promote the implementation of the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) in the Caribbean is being held in Dominica, Saint Lucia and Grenada January 27-Februay 4, 2025.  The training is hosted by the Dominica Meteorological Services and the Office of Disaster Management Dominica, the Saint Lucia Meteorological Service in Saint Lucia and the Grenada Meteorological Service, Grenada Airports Authority.   The Caribbean Meteorological Organization (CMO) in collaboration with WMO supported by trainers from the National Meteorological Services of Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago facilitated this Common Alerting Protocol Workshop training initiative. Funding support was provided by the Climate Risk Early Warning Systems (CREWS) Caribbean 2.0 project. Further details on the training and the meeting documents are shown below.
