Youth for Water, Weather and Climate (WWC) is the technical and research space of the Network. It brings together young professionals, researchers and students interested in meteorology, hydrology, forecasting, climate science, early warning systems and operational service delivery. The space encourages collaboration, knowledge exchange and technical discussions on real challenges affecting weather, water and climate systems, while creating opportunities for youth to contribute innovative perspectives to the future of hydrometeorological services.
Objectives
- Foster technical exchange and peer learning across regions and disciplines.
- Discuss operational challenges and emerging scientific developments.
- Promote innovation in forecasting, observations and early warning systems.
- Strengthen collaboration between youth, researchers and WMO technical communities.
- Contribute youth perspectives to technical and research discussions within WMO.
