In 2024, WCM has developed the first WCM Hazard Calendar for Tropical Cyclones, co-designed with UNHCR with contributions from WMO Secretariat, WMO Tropical Cyclone Program (TCP), Advisory Group on TCs, Regional Specialized Meteorological Centres (RSMCs) / Tropical Cyclone Warning Centres (TCWCs) and the Federal Office for Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss (Weather4UN Pilot Project).

This product includes:

TC tracks of the last 30 years, using the NOAA's International Best Track Archive for Climate Stewardship (IBTrACS) data,
UNHCR locations of forcibly displaced persons,
Hyperlinks to the RSMCs and TCWCs (for authoritative TC information),
Relevant TCs information and useful links,
TC classification in the various basins (as table),
Calendar of the typical TC activity in the various basins, including the peak of the season.
