The Advisory Group on the Worldwide Metocean Information and Warning Service Sub Committee (AG-WWMIWS-SubC), an advisory group under SC-MMO, oversees the coordination and monitoring of global meteorological maritime safety information (MSI) within the IMO’s GMDSS, ensuring warnings and forecasts reach vessels on international and national voyages, including those outside the SOLAS Convention.
