The Standing Committee on Measurements, Instrumentation and Traceability (SC-MINT) supports WMO’s mandate to standardize meteorological observations and data publication by advancing WIGOS. It develops and maintains measurement standards, promotes innovation, ensures traceability and quality, coordinates best practices and training, assesses compliance of measurement centres, and collaborates with WMO bodies and international partners to strengthen global observing systems.
