Hydrological Coordination Panel

The Hydrological Coordination Panel is WMO’s central advisory body on hydrology. It guides integrated water-related activities, prepares work for the Hydrological Assembly, and advises the Executive Council on scientific and technical challenges. The Panel identifies service and capacity gaps, strengthens collaboration across WMO bodies and partners, and supports Members in improving hydrological observations, forecasting, early warnings and water-resources management in line with the WMO Vision and Strategy for Hydrology.
