RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean

The RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean (TCC) was established in 1985. Part of the WMO Tropical Cyclone Programme (TCP), TCC is the regional coordinated system tasked with promoting and coordinating the implementation of measures to reduce loss of life, damage and economic losses caused by tropical cyclones and their related hazards in the South pacific and South-East Indian Oceans. In RA V, forecasts and advisories of tropical cyclone-affected countries and territories are supported by the RSMC Nadi - Tropical Cyclone Centre.
