The Expert Team leads the RA II Implementation Project to improve satellite observations and applications and coordinates the Pilot Project on the expansion of marine weather satellite broadcast service in Asia-Pacific. It coordinates with INFCOM and expert teams to maintain regional satellite data requirements, develop training with VLab and RTCs, and promote software tools for operational forecasting. The group supports SC-ON ET-SSU activities, fosters collaboration with other regions, and advances the effective use of satellite data and products across RA II.
