TCI - Climate Services
| The Climate Services component of the TCI is led by Nakiete Msemo, who acts as an Associate Scientific Officer at WMO. |

For the Climate Services, the TCI provides a collaborative platform that connects normative climate guidance with practical service delivery at regional and national levels. The TCU supports projects that strengthen climate services across sectors such as agriculture, water, health, and disaster risk reduction, ensuring alignment with the WMO Strategic Plan and the broader NMHS value chain. Through webinars, exchange events, and knowledge-sharing platforms, the initiative enables Members and partners to share operational experiences, case studies, and lessons learned related to climate information production and use. This coordinated approach enhances technical coherence across projects, improves the uptake of climate services, and supports evidence-based decision-making, while helping identify remaining gaps in climate resilience and service delivery.
