Expert Team on Radio Frequency Coordination (ET-RFC)

The Expert Team on Radio Frequency Coordination (ET-RFC) oversees and coordinates the allocation and use of radio-frequency bands for meteorological and related environmental activities. It works with WMO Members to support their engagement with national regulatory authorities on important WMO Integrated Global Observing System (WIGOS) issues. This includes ensuring proper frequency notification and assignments, contributing to future spectrum planning, and aligning the use of radio spectrum with international regulations.
