RA II WG-S Expert Team on Disaster Risk Reduction (ET-DRR)

The Expert Team leads RA II implementation projects on Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (MHEWSs) and Impact-Based Forecasting and Warnings Services (IBFWS), including the WMO Cataloguing of Hazardous Events (CHE) initiative in Asia. It supports identifying regional DRR and Public Weather Service (PWS) needs, assists Members in service delivery improvement and Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) implementation, and promotes collaboration through the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative and the WMO Coordination Mechanism to support humanitarian agencies (WCM).
