The Expert Team leads the RA II Implementation Project on strengthening marine and coastal services in coordination with the Expert Team on DRR. It supports WG Services in identifying regional marine needs, implements WMO standards and practices, and carries out marine and oceanographic programme activities. The team promotes common marine and coastal service delivery, enhances data and product exchange through WIGOS and WIS pilots, encourages Member participation in met-ocean initiatives, and collaborates with SERCOM’s SC-MMO.
