About WMO-MT

WMO-MT

WMO-MT is a custom machine translation (MT) system trained on official WMO documents and publications to facilitate the translation of WMO materials and enable wider access to information across the six official United Nations languages. 

It is maintained and operated by the Linguistic Services and Publishing Section (LSP) to support the  production of unofficial translations for information purposes only. Each translation is clearly identified as such, and users are referred to the disclaimer below.

Documents produced using WMO-MT are generated through an automated translation process and are provided as unofficial translations for information purposes only.

No warranty of any kind, either express or implied, is made regarding the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the translated content. Any discrepancies or differences arising from the translation of the original text are not legally binding and have no effect for compliance, enforcement or any other purpose. The English original shall prevail as the official and authoritative version of the document.
