The Task Team on NWP Products Metadata (TT-NWPMD) develops and maintains metadata standards, codelists, and procedures for numerical weather prediction (NWP) products, ensuring alignment with ISO, OGC, and W3C standards—particularly for WIS2. It defines key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess metadata quality, collaborates with ET-Metadata to document best practices for inclusion in the renewed Guide to the GDPFS, and reports progress regularly to SC-ESMP.
