The group leads the RA II Implementation Project to improve meteorological services for aviation. It supports WG Services in assessing regional capabilities, promotes sharing of best practices and technological advances, and works with ICAO and Members to strengthen governance, cost-recovery mechanisms, and data exchange. The group develops training materials to support quality management and personnel competency, focusing on developing and LDC Members, and collaborates with SERCOM’s Standing Committee on Services for Aviation.
