The RA III Committee on Science and Innovation (RA III-C-S&I) guides regional research strategies under the RA III President and the Management Group. It seeks to integrate Member needs into global programs like GAW, WWRP, and WCRP. The RA III-C-S&I focuses on the Earth system approach and champions "Research to Operations" (R2O) to improve NMHS services. It also aims to foster scientific partnerships among NMHSs, academia, and the private sector while identifying funding mechanisms for joint research and extrabudgetary projects.
