Technical Coordination Initiative
The Technical Coordination Initiative (TCI) bridges WMO normative guidance and operational action, ensuring technical guidance, best practices and operational lessons learned systematically strengthen the work of the WMO community and support implementation of WMO strategic objectives.

TCI Objectives

  • Translate Guidance into Action: Support the practical application of WMO standards, guidance, and normative work across regions and countries. 
  • Share Operational Learning: Provide a platform for exchanging feedback from users, experiences, case studies, and lessons learned; and identify remaining gaps. 
  • Foster Collaboration: Create a space for WMO Members, Technical Units, and partners to collaborate across disciplines and strategic objectives.
