RA VI Coordination Panel on Hydrology

The RA VI Coordination Panel on Hydrology (RA VI CPH) is a regional body established to address cross-cutting hydrology-related matters within WMO Regional Association VI (Europe). Given that the Regional Association operates through several thematic bodies, the Panel ensures a well-coordinated and coherent approach to the implementation of hydrological activities across the Region. It supports the RA VI Hydrology Adviser in carrying out their mandate, including through structured consultation with the RA VI Hydrology Advisers’ Forum and the Hydrology Assembly of RA VI. By facilitating dialogue, alignment of priorities, and information exchange among Members and relevant regional mechanisms, the Panel promotes the consistent application of WMO standards and initiatives and strengthens the integration of hydrology into broader regional priorities.

A panel of nine experts, some seated and some standing, are introduced with names, titles, and headshots under the heading for hydrology leadership in RA VI by the World Meteorological Organization.
