The Expert Team on Aircraft-based Observations (ET-ABO) working group oversees the development, operation, and improvement of aircraft-based observing systems, including AMDAR, Mode-S, ADS, and UAVs. It manages plans, budgets, standards, and data systems, collaborates with the aviation industry and international partners, updates guidance materials, supports training, and reports progress to SC/ON and SC/MINT.
