The WMO-IATA Collaborative AMDAR Programme (WICAP) is a joint project of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). |

WICAP will be developed with the aim of building upon and enhancing the existing, operational WMO Aircraft Meteorological Data Relay (AMDAR) observing system over currently data-sparse areas of the globe.
