RA V serves as the regional body of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for states and territories in the South-West Pacific region, coordinating meteorological, hydrological, and climate services to enhance weather forecasting, climate monitoring, and disaster risk reduction across one of the world's most climatically diverse and vulnerable regions.
