WMO has launched a global survey on gender equality in aeronautical meteorology to obtain viewpoints from research scientists, technicians, observers, forecasters, service manager and senior managers working at aeronautical meteorological stations, offices or other centres.

Staff and managers, regardless of gender, working in aeronautical meteorology are kindly invited to complete the survey, which is available in English only via URL: https://analytics-eu.clickdimensions.com/cn/accqt/AVI-2021-gender-survey

The survey should take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete. The deadline for completion of the survey is 31 August 2021. All responses to the survey will be anonymous.

The results of the survey will be used by WMO's Standing Committee on Services for Aviation to help devise strategies to increase the involvement of women in the work of WMO in aeronautical meteorology and will contribute to both the Services Commission's and WMO’s gender action plans and related initiatives.

Please contact the WMO Secretariat via email if you have any questions regarding the survey.
