The TT-HydroResearch, established at the 9th WMO Research Board session in 2023 (Decision #3, Action #3), builds on the work of the former Research Board Tiger Team on Hydrology. It addresses emerging hydrology-related projects and activities within WMO research programmes to ensure their inclusion in the WMO Plan of Action for Hydrology. The team, within the Research Board, coordinates with hydrology activities in WWRP, WCRP, and GAW, and strengthens collaboration with initiatives such as UNESCO-IHP, IAHS, HEPEX, and EGU/AGU.
