By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Advise their Permanent Representative of the expected contents of a National WIS Implementation Plan;
• Prepare, edit and publish WIS metadata records;
• Explain to their national colleagues the structure of WIS and what is needed to implement and maintain WIS in support of national and international activities.
