WMO-NBI-ICPAC Hydrological Status and Outlook Workshop
In the context of the Greater Horn of Africa Climate Outlook Forum, WMO, NBI and ICPAC join forces to discuss Hydrological Status and Outlooks for the Nile Basin and the Lake Victoria sub-basin. This workshop is made possible by GIZ, and the projects Water at the Heart of Climate Action and CREWS East Africa. IGAD countries and HydroSOS Lake Victoria Basin countries participated in this workshop (Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Uganda + Burundi and Tanzania).
The activity was preceded by a HydroSOS Status Workshop organized by the project Water at the Heart of Climate Action, where countries develop a streamflow status product for selected stations in the five participating countries (Ethiopia, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, and Uganda). Their results are available in the HydroSOS Portal.
