WMO Volume C1 Update
Radio Sounding Descent Data in BUFR Format from Hungary via GTS from 15 February
Notification from Hungarian Meteorological Service (HMS)
The Hungarian Meteorological Service will disseminate the descent data from both radiosonde stations Budapest Pestszentlőrinc (WIGOS Station Identifier: 0-348-3-44562) and Szeged (WIGOS Station Identifier: 0-702-3-58117) from 15 February 2022. Radiosonde data will be reported using BUFR sequence 309056.

Hourly BUFR Data from Hungary Available from 15 February
Notification from Hungarian Meteorological Service (HMS)
The Hungarian Meteorological Service has implemented an open data policy last year. As a result, hourly data from all automatic weather stations in Hungary (142 stations) will be reported from 15th February 2022. Updated hourly measurement data will be available in BUFR format in real-time. Compared to hourly SYNOP reports, the files will contain significantly more station data for much more meteorological variables. The stations will be provided by their WIGOS Station Identifier (WSI) in the data files. The code used for the file structure will be the TM 307091 template, the header will be ISAD01 HABP.

NOAA Saildrone Data Now Available from GISC Offenbach

NOAA is providing data from Saildrones and AIS Ship data through their ERDDAP system. This data is made available by GISC Offenbach through WIS and WIS2 Pub/Sub Messaging. MQP Availability of GTS Data from GISC Offenbach
Notification from Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD)
In order to further evaluate WIS2 technologies, DWD is now making available all German WMO Essential and WMO NoLimitation GTS data using WIS2 Pub/Sub protocols. If you are interested to test and subscribe to these data feeds, please contact wis@dwd.de.
Available protocols are MQTT3.1, MQTT5.0, and AMQP 0.9.
Please note that this service is only accessible for test purposes and does not fulfill any service level requirements as of now. Feedback on this service is very much appreciated.
