''Global Energy Interconnection Pathway to Carbon Neutrality''

Background:

High-level representatives of the UN and relevant international organizations, high-rank officials of relevant countries, experts and scholars from universities and research institutions, and heads of enterprises and financial institutions will share their views on the main topic of "The Road to Global Carbon Neutrality". They will seek solutions to global climate and environmental crises. Discussions will revolve around such topics as clean energy development, low-carbon energy transition, cross-regional energy interconnection, technological innovation, and infrastructure construction.

 

Objective:

The Road to Global Carbon Neutrality will be released at the seminar to reveal the excessive use of fossil fuels as the root cause of climate change. To secure carbon neutrality, energy, the linchpin of the problem, must be addressed, and major efforts made to expedite the energy and electric power revolution and implement the "Two Replacements", namely, clean replacement in energy production and electricity replacement in energy consumption, in an effort to resolve the climate and environment crisis, promote high-quality economic development, and advance the sustainable development of humanity.
